Breakfast is served in the garden under the trees in summer and near

a roaring fire in the main guest lounge in winter. 

The generous Onse Rus farmhouse breakfast is a real treat: homemade muesli, fresh farm dairy products, fruit juice, bacon and eggs with mouth watering local preserves... and just wait until you taste the cream! 

We serve coffee and cake  on our verandah, where guests can relax in the shade of the trees and watch the village about its business. Guests often prefer the privacy of the garden where they can enjoy a light lunch near the pool. In winter there's a wood fire in the dining room to keep you snug.

We are fully licensed and cater for large tour groups.

Dinner is served upon request - you might fancy a simple omelette or a three course Karoo dinner - chat to Lisa. If you prefer to eat out we can recommend a number of excellent restaurants.
